Free Academic Support for All Subject Areas!
Mount Ida provides free tutoring during your college career via two on-campus locations: the Academic Success Center, first floor of Hallden Hall and the Writing Center, located in the library. You can schedule up to two hours of free tutoring per course per week with one of our professional tutors or peer tutors. We offer individual and group tutoring, along with quiet areas for study and computer access for homework and class projects. Our tutors can assist you with study skills, such as note taking and outlining or time management tips, test preparation and test-taking strategies. Whatever your need, our tutors are glad to help you reach your academic goals.
Choose from 30-minute or 60-minute tutoring sessions, by accessing our online scheduler. Log onto the MiWeb Portal. Then choose the My Academics tab and the quick link Make a Tutoring/Success Coach Appt. Students also have the option of setting up weekly standing appointments by calling us at (617) 928-4709; we also welcome drop-in appointments, so stop by and check out our services.
