The School of Business at Mount Ida College emphasizes practical knowledge—the type that matters in the workplace, not just in the classroom. Students examine real-world business issues and tackle complex problems, both individually and in collaborative project teams. Combined with our innovative program curricula, the School’s suite of academic programs provides a number of opportunities for students to explore their interests and build toward successful careers.

A special characteristic of the School of Business is the College’s optional CONNECT program. The CONNECT living-learning community provides an engaging environment designed to foster academic and social success at college specifically for first-year students in the Schools of Business and Social Sciences & Humanities. CONNECT enhances the first-year experience by combining all the necessary ingredients to ensure that first-year students transition smoothly into college life and college-level academic work. CONNECT students live together on newly renovated floors in their own residence hall, where they also take classes and have close access to professional advising, peer mentors, tutoring, and additional co-curricular programs at no additional charge.
