Travel Programs

Explore the world through a variety of study-abroad choices!

Faculty-led travel courses:
These unique on-campus courses have a required, embedded travel component.  You will travel during your vacation period (winter/spring break/summer) with your professors and classmates.  Each year the Center offers between seven and 10 of these faculty-led travel courses with new programs developed every year. Many students go on multiple trips, learning more and more about the world they are about to enter as professionals.

We will help you prepare for your adventures with a required orientation session before you depart, where you’ll learn about financial issues, travel safety and how to prepare.  Mount Ida will be with you every step of the way.

If you have a love of history, you can go to Germany and learn about the holocaust.  You could spend a week in India learning about cooperatives and multinational companies.  You might find yourself measuring turtles in Costa Rica or learning about children in Ireland and what a typical school day is like for them.  You might get to care for animals in a wildlife sanctuary or explore the world of graphic design in Germany.
