Professional development and lifelong learning

Mount Ida continuing education programs serve the diverse needs of students of all ages. Many of our own students and others currently attending other colleges and universities take summer classes to catch up or get ahead in their degree programs. Our continuing education team also welcomes working professionals from throughout the Boston area, who take classes to gain new job skills or switch careers. In addition, many local retirees seeking new adventures and lifelong learning take advantage of course auditing opportunities at Mount Ida.

Our continuing education programs also serve the needs of professionals in the dental hygiene, education and thanatology professions – with certificate and licensure programs that teach key skills for career growth.

We encourage you to try something new – for fun or your career – through Mount Ida continuing education. We’re sure you’ll feel at home as a member of inclusive community of students.
