Many Mount Ida College students think of campus as not just the place where they attend classes, but also home. Our beautiful 72-acre traditional New England college campus is one of the best in the northeast. Nestled in the picturesque and safe suburb of Newton, Massachusetts, our campus is just minutes away from Boston, a world-class city.

Weekday Campus Tours

We offer regularly scheduled campus tours during the week. During the school year, tours begin at 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Weekend Information Sessions

Throughout the year, we also host information sessions one Saturday per month, which include an admissions presentation, a campus tour and an opportunity to meet some of our select professors.

Fall Open House

Saturday, October 28 Beginning at 9 AM

This special event is our biggest prospective student visit day of the year, and will take place Saturday, October 28. The day includes a college overview presentation, tours of campus, the residence halls, and special facilities, as well as a community fair, with tables set up for every major at the college as well as tables for student life and student services.

Game Day Visit For Football Recruits

If you are a football recruit or are interested in learning more about the Division III football program, we encourage you to sign up for a game day visit. You will have the opportunity to meet with the coaching staff, learn more about the admissions process, tour campus, and watch the Mustangs compete.

We invite student, parents, and other to visit campus to learn about Mount Ida College – our majors, our experiential learning model, our small class sizes, our close-knit community, our 16 NCAA Division III teams, our many student clubs, and much, much more.

Campus Visit Options

We know that you and your family have very busy schedules. That’s why we have designed a visit program with many different options. If you require ADA accommodations, please contact admissions@mountida.edu before your visit.

Small group meeting and tour with an admissions counselor. If you find our regular tours and events don’t work for you, we encourage you to schedule a small group tour with us.
