The College currently seeks applications for the part-time, academic year position (20-25 hours per week for 32 weeks, evening hours) of Writing Coach. This position will provide academic outreach and support to student in various academic settings through individual and group tutoring and classroom presentations; will assist students in understanding the writing process as they review students’ writing with them; and assist students in learning study strategies, including time management, test preparation, and organizational skills.
Candidates must have a Master’s degree in English/Composition; experience in the area of academic support or coaching, teaching, or tutoring; experience working in collaborative relationships with professionals in a higher education setting.
