Mount Ida College invites applications for the part-time position of Assistant Women’s Softball Coach beginning September, 2014. Mount Ida College is a NCAA Division III program and a member of the Great Northeast Athletic Conference.
The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to: assisting the Head Coach in planning all phases of a women’s softball program during the traditional and non-traditional seasons; recruiting; scouting; practice preparation; assisting with fundraising and other administrative duties as assigned by the Head Coach.
Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree, collegiate playing experience; coaching experience at either the varsity high school or college level, knowledge of the game both offensively and defensively, valid driver’s license, willingness to travel, and excellent organizational and communication skills.
