Assistant Director for Operations, Residence Life

The College currently seeks applications for the live-in position of Assistant Director for Operations, Residence Life. This position is primarily responsible for the oversight and management of the residence hall assignment and billing process for approximately 800 on-campus residential beds.  Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to oversight of housing assignments, billing, the room change process, damage billing, break housing, and housing projections. In collaboration with the Facilities Department, this position is also responsible for oversight of the residence hall opening and closing process. Supervisory responsibilities include the direct supervision of a Graduate Resident Director and a Graduate Resident Assistant.

Candidates must have a Master’s degree in Student Personnel or a related field. A background in Residential Administration and Development is highly desired. Strong crisis management skills are necessary. At least two years’ experience in a graduate assistantship or one year of full-time experience in Higher Education Administration with a concentration in Residence Life or Housing Operations is highly desired. Experience with the Microsoft Office suite of products (Excel, Word, Publisher, Access) is a plus. Successful candidates must meet CORI and SORI background check standards.
