Dramatic College Growth Leads to Review of Master Plan for Campus Facilities

Mount Ida President Barry Brown releases statement on College growth and planned review of Master Campus Facilities Plan.

January 5, 2017
I am pleased to announce that the Board of Trustees, recognizing the dramatic growth of Mount Ida College over the past five years, has determined that it is appropriate to review the 2007 Master Plan in anticipation of the need for expanding our campus facilities consistent with the aspirational goals set forth in the College’s Vision 2020 strategic plan. The process anticipates consideration of new instructional and laboratory spaces, new athletic facilities, new residences and expanded common areas for students, a new library innovation center, as well as a performing arts center which will connect us to the larger community beyond the campus.

These are exciting times and we look forward to sharing updates and information with the entire community as this process proceeds.
